ANOTHER SENSIBLE APPROACH FROM SPAIN IN THE MIDDLE-EAST!

Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares announced on 29 January that Madrid would continue to support the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) despite Israeli claims linking staff members to the Palestinian resistance operation against Israel on 7 October.

Albares described the UNRWA as "indispensable," noting that the financial support provided contributes to “alleviate the terrible humanitarian situation in Gaza.” He also highlighted that the accusation focuses on the actions of “approximately a dozen individuals among UNRWA's 30,000 employees.”

The US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, and Austria are among a group of western nations who recently cut funding to the agency, pending an internal inquiry.

UNRWA recently announced that at least 142 members of its staff had been killed by Israel's brutal bombing campaign of the Gaza Strip.

THIS MADE US PROUD TO BE LOCATED IN SPAIN ONCE AGAIN.
