Karabeyoglu Construction certified as an A Class Contractor for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil


Karabeyoglu Construction certified as an A Class Contractor for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil under the new announced National Oil Network project yesterday. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for refineries, Hamid Younis Al-Zobaie, chaired a joint-meeting of the Board of Directors of Iraq Oil Pipelines Company (SCOP) and revealed that they discussed plans and studies to develop the long-distance pipeline network of Iraq.

Al-Zobaie confirmed that the ministry is keen to develop and modernize the national pipeline network and the infrastructure of the oil sector to enhance and sustain storage capacities, and to reach a high flow in the processes of pumping and distributing oil and its derivatives.

Dept. M.D.Majed Abdel Reda referred the mutual plans to develop pipeline networks, rehabilitate the ones damaged, lay new pipelines, and increase storage capacities in their warehouses spread across the country to secure fuel for consumers, power plants and vital sectors. Karabeyoglu Enterprises is an EPC contractor completed many infra-structure projects throughout Iraq over 70 years in collaboration with Iraqi Ministries of Irrigation, Interior, Defense, Electricity and most of local municipalities for laying pipes, pumps, sub-stations, power lines, storage facilities presented in the meetings by Engineer Saleh Al-Musawi, M.D. of Karabeyoglu Construction.
